an entry somewhere else

I woke up to an email sent around 1.30a this morning. It was my flight itinerary. I’ll be leaving Saturday night and arriving in Jakarta on Monday. The only thing that changes this time is the carrier. The past three years I was booked on United and have banked up some wicked air miles that I was hoping to use to get bumped up to business class this go-round. That’s not going to happen. I suppose I can always try to get something coming back in April for the big international conference in New York. Now, I wait.

I also received a few photos of my humble apartment in the lecturers building-a bed and sitting room is what I have seen so far. There’s no telling what else there will be and how much day-to-day things I’ll need to buy for myself. I may be returning to a two-wheeler for my transport as well.
