Yes, I’m back in Makassar after two solid days of traveling interspersed with one day in Bangkok. I went to check out a self-access center to get ideas for the learning center were putting together here. It was a decent fact finding mission and has given me more options for the day-to-day operations, materials, and layout we can use. It wasn’t a waste, just a bear to do as things are again getting busy here.
I had six flights to overcome in two days—Makassar to Jakarta, Jakarta to Kuala Lumpur, Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok. I went back the same route. Malaysia was interesting in that I was required to go through immigration for my transit. Everyone has to go through immigration whether or not they are staying there. Annoying.
