A wondering email sent me scurrying to the online version of The Jakarta Post to come up with the article: Protesters throw rocks, burn flag at U.S. Embassy. Let me assure I am fine. I will report more later on the English camp I went to in the scenic Bira beach area–only an 8 hour bus ride round trip!

Only 8 hrs? They must have fixed up the road.
I went to the Triple M beach near Kombi. Nice enough, but also a long way to go for a beach.
The road wasn’t so bad; it was almost like an old-fashioned roller coaster at some points. There were a few highlights on the return trip that I’ll discuss at length at a later time.
