Slow as Molasses.

The turkey was delicious, the leftovers even better. I managed to spice up the stuffing with more than enough salt and hot peppers. The jell-o dessert didn’t set. I was working with a little less than the usual here. It was a good remembrance of Thanksgivings past.

Work marches on. The schedule was changed and no one told me. Ergo, I taught the class last week as the last time and gave them the rest of the answers for self-study. One more class then. It’s been a stressful couple of weeks here because of things surrounding work but were not actually work. On Sunday, I’m off for Yogyakarta for a conference. I’ll have to fly to Jakarta and transfer there, but it’s backtracking since the airlines out of Manado don’t fly to any other place on Java. So much for deregulation of the airlines here.

Internet is still unavailable at work, but my first round of shirts are done. Maybe I can get a couple out soon. Or at least a picture in the photo gallery.

Cheers for now.

Hey Tony, glad to hear you had a Thanksgiving worth remembering, just like those back in Rajbiraj, eh? Anyhow, best holidays wishes to you in Jesusland. So, does the fat man visit Manando too?

Another one, Tony. Can you explain what’s going on with the Ivone blog (linked on your sidebar)? Very interesting. Is this a class at your school?

Scott, Ivone is a colleague in Manado. She’s starting to utilize bloggin in her English classes at the Polytechnic University. Interesting stuff. The blogging world is just getting underway here and the educational implications are great.
