I’m sitting back in Ellsworth, listening to the Sufjan Stevens CD that celebrates Michigan in all its glory, and doing the little things that need to get done after a couple days in our nation’s capital. With that said, the orientation for the English Language Fellow program was better this year. Not much better but better nonetheless. Again, some IRS official could do nothing but thoroughly confuse the hell out of us as well as tell us that the program is disbursing our money incorrectly or misclassifying our position. How the heck should I know?
The news is that I won’t be leaving until at least the 8th of September! Holy smoke, Batman! It will give me some time to settle the current crisis of the only person not having a visa for Indonesia in-hand at the moment. Tomorrow will be the royal rumble of me and the consular desk of the Indo consulate in Chicago. Wish me luck.
Over and out.
