I’ve spent the past few days travelling. The Tigers’ game was great; it went 13 innings and the Tigers’ actually won! I busted down to Toledo for some fun and games also. I hate to say it, but Toledo isn’t very pretty. I didn’t take pictures of that.

It pains me to report I’m the victim of a very temperamental iBook. It’s been freezing up quite a bit as of late. I’ve had to do more restarts in the last week than I had to in the last year. Of course, my warranty has run out. It looks like I’m going to have to back up my harddrive and do a complete restoration. The darn things even seems to lock up when I am transferring files… I have no confidence in the repair shop in Traverse City. I may take it with me on Wednesday to DC and see if there is a shop there that can have a look at it while I’m there. Wish me luck!

OK, Toledo did have its charms. The charms were the inhabitants who were positive about their city and willing to step up and make a change. Sound familiar? It’s more than I can say for thousands of other cities across this nation…
