Yes, things have come to a standstill. The photogallery, while setup, continues to run nearly bare since I can’t put the photos up from this place. I’ll try to get it sorted out next week before I leave.
I’m going to head downstate next week using the good, ol’ Greyhound. They changed the route since last time I took the bus. The rather circuitous route to Ann Arbor will take me through Kalamazoo. I’ll spend some days there and then shove off to DC and, possibly, NYC for about a week before getting back to the Hand. Maybe my computer will be fixed by then. Maybe not.
If you care to look: One of my college roommates is featured in an article in the NYTimes today (10 July 2005). It’s the Real Estate section and the article about Hell’s Kitchen. I always remembered the guy as an excessive neat freak—or maybe I just tolerated dirt better than him. His 15 minutes started today.

That sounds like a awful route, coming from someone who took the trip via greyhound many times during my first years up north! You better get a hold of me when down here. JV says hi and sends love, from Milwaulkie! More later.
Honestly, Luke is the only one that I can remember cleaning the kitchen at S. 4th Ave!
